Hence obtaining import and export license in Cameroon is the only document authorizing economic operators to circulate their goods within and outside Cameroon.The documents needed for a successful import and export license application:
1. Certificate of company incorporation
A certificate of incorporation is a legal document/license relating to the formation of a company or corporation. It is a license to form a corporation issued by the Cameroonian government. This is to prove the company is legal and operates under the rules and regulation of the Government of Cameroon.
2. Taxpayers card of the company

3. Certificate of non-indebtedness of the company
The Certificate of non-indebtedness aims to provide assurance that the company does not owe money that could affect its financial operations. in essence, this Certificate helps to provide the trust with the longevity and financial operations of the business.
4. Articles of association of the company
This documents specifies the regulations for a company’s operations and defines the company’s purpose. Consequently, the document lays out how tasks are done within the organization. Additionally, it usually includes the process for appointing directors and the handling of financial records.
5. Attestation of the location of the company
This Attestation shows where the company is located and guide the government authority and how to reach the location from which the business operates. Furthermore, it is important as the authority might need to check the company operations or if they need to go there for official purposes.
6. Copy of ID cards or Passport of shareholders
The copy of ID cards of all shareholders is also a requirement. This is due to the fact that a background check is done on them to check their criminal record or if they have any form of financial issues.
7. Proof of payment of registration fee
Assurance the registration fee for the import/export license is paid is a requirement. Most at times, it is in the form of the receipt which is received payment.
