END OF YEAR IS HERE. HAVE YOU FILED IN YOUR TAX RETURNS
END OF YEAR IS HERE. HAVE YOU FILED IN YOUR TAX RETURNS

It’s that time of the year again when we have to compile our documents and this maybe time -consuming and confusing for business owners but that’s why we here for you to help you get through the process. Wondering what to do? Well let’s get you informed.
A statistical and fiscal tax return commonly known as a DSF (Declarations Statisques et Fiscales) is a document which shows an integration of the various summary financial statements of a company. The summary financial statements are declared over a twelve-month period and they include documents like: income statement, cashflow statement, balance sheet and notes financial statements depending on the size and status of your company or business so don’t let those big jargons scare you we got you covered.
As per the tax code 2020 and ohada system of accounting (Foundation for a unified business law in Africa), taxpayers are expected to submit this return by the 15th of march following year end and it should be done in conformity with the ohada accounting system. The ohada system of accounting also expects that businesses that are governed by the provisions of the ohada commercial law must set up an accounting system for both internal and external use.
As March 15 approaches, many businesses get busy working on their statistics and tax returns and as in the case of Cameroon( which is part of the ohada member states), taxpayers are expected to submit a declaration of their business income during the period which serves as a basis for their tax payment.
With the coming of the new Syschohada law, businesses may be little confused and stressed on how to go about the whole process and that’s why we are here for you.
